Transportation Shipping Methods
Did you know that a total of 11.84 billion tons of freight was transported by trucks in the United States in 2019? This growing trend reiterates the importance of our fleet transportation services. We provide heavy-duty truck shipping and carry loads via dry van freights, flowboys, and trains.
- Dry van freight – Protect your products from the elements by having them transported in the most common type of freight vehicle, a dry van freight. These freights are just variants of the semi-trailer designed to transport various types of goods. V-Max Transportation primarily transports blanket wrapped office furniture and their raw materials, as well as dry food products and insulation.
- Flowboys – Flowboys are semi-trailers used to service the road construction industry, often transporting aggregates or asphalt for road paving.
- Hydraulic Tail trailers – Hydraulic tail trailers consist of a rear ramp that can be raised or lowered hydraulically. The ramp’s angle is often lower than usual, allowing different types of equipment to be loaded onto the trailer more easily. These trailers are used for towing, or transporting, lighter equipment like vehicles, rental equipment, sky tracks, scissor lifts, and so on.
- Trains – Trains also service the construction industry transporting sand, dirt, stone, rock, millings, oversized rock, and concrete slabs.
Whether you need a full truckload, partial truckload, or expedited service, V-Max Transportation strives to be your go-to West Michigan truck transportation company.
